EXCO ELECTIONS 2009 22/7 (Wednesday), 2.45pm Venue: TC 31 (Interview room) / TC 32 (Speech room) Attire: Full Grey Uniform Attendance: All NJCD members
Note: 1. Dancers who are involved in their CIP projects, please inform your CIP representative so that you can be excused 2. If you have any problems in attending the elections, please inform Jun Kai or Mun Han 3. The voting only starts at 5 so non-exco SH2 dancers only need to report then. 4. TC32 will also be the holding room for those who have not been interviewed, as well as those who have already completed the interview
For dancers who are running for the 2009-2010 executive committee elections, please note the following instructions for your speech: 1. Your speech should be 2-5 minutes long 2. Indicate which are the posts that you are running for 3. Indicate how you can contribute to NJCD if you are given your post 4. Indicate the reasons why you are running for the posts that you have applied 5. Indicate any past leadership experience you have had 6. Indicate the reason why we should vote for you

Dance Camp 2009 Pack List:
Day 1 Arrive in: Official NJCD Tee, tights/pants, track shoes, bun (girls only) Bring: - Dance shoes - knee guards (optional) - Dark-coloured shorts/FBTs
Day 2 Arrive in: NJCD Family Tee, dark-coloured shorts/FBTs, track shoes Bring: - Camp booklet!! - Foundation, fake eyelashes (girls only) - Makeup remover/wet wipes
For both days, bring: - Dark-coloured shirt - Additional change of clothes - Personal medication (if any) - Stationery - Water bottle - Towel & toiletries (optional)
Report at the Gym at 7.40am on 9 June, Tuesday! See you then! :D

NJCD ExCo Elections 2009 Deadline for submission of election form: 18 May 2009, Monday
Date of interview & speeches is not on 28 May 2009 anymore. Confirmed details will be released at the later time. It is compulsory for all SH1 2009 students to run for 3 positions in the ExCo.
Things to include in election form: 1. Name 2. Class 3. Positions running for (1st, 2nd and 3rd choices) 4. Past leadership experience (if any) 5. Other CCAs in NJC 6. 5 qualities you possess 7. Reason(s) why you would stand out from other candidates running for the positions you are running for (1 reason (or more) for each position stated) 8. What and how you can contribute to NJCD if you are elected into the ExCo

In order to prepare us for the SYF Central Judging Competition, the NJC Physical Education has arranged for a series of Sports talks by Sports Experts from their relevant fields to come to National Junior College. The details are as follows:
1. 22/1/2009 Sports Psychology Talk 1800hrs @ LT1 Guest speaker: Dr Bervyn Lee Direction of Sports Culture Singapore Sports council
2. 29/1/2009 Sports Injury and Prevention and Management1800hrs @LT1 Guest Speaker: Dr Teoh Chin Sim Director Orthapedic Surgery, Sports Medicine Alexander Hospital
3. 12/2/2009 Sports Nutrition 1800hrs @ LT1 Guest Speaker: Dr Balasekaran Director Exercise and Sports Studies Nanyang Technological University (NIE)

Hi guys, chalet details:
Venue: Costa Sands Resort (Pasir Ris) Room: T02 Dates: 10th - 12th December Check-in time: 2.30pm Check-out time: 10.30am
Sooooo, we'll meet at Pasir Ris MRT Control Station at 1.45pm sharp on 10Dec. Shuttle bus to Costa Sands Pasir Ris will leave at 2.15pm and the next bus will only come an hour later so, DON'T BE LATE!
Bring money and phone and camera and charger and change of clothes and toiletries etc etc. Bring poker cards, mahjong cards/tiles, powerplug extensions, laptop, speakers and movies if you have too! :D There will be no BBQ this time so we'll have to feast on junkfood k. Kidding luh, we'll prolly eat out so bring extra $$$$$ too.
K that's about it so, see you on Wednesday! :D
