Hello dancers,
If you don't know already (I hope you do), dance camp is this coming Thursday/Friday! 
(31st May - 1st June)

It will not be a stayover camp, for safety reasons and due to the lack of teachers in charge to look after us.

Here are some information that you should note:


Timings and locations:
Day 1
Venue: NJC grounds
Reporting time: 8am SHARP
Reporting location: HALL
Reporting Attire: Dance attire with maroon dance tee
Release time: 7pm

Day 2
Venue: NJC, followed by Shermain's condo for FUN NIGHT ;)
Reporting time: 8am SHARP
Reporting location: HALL
Reporting attire: Dance attire with family tee
Release time: 10.30pm latest

Shermain's condo address: Glendale Park, Hillview Ave 25A (Nearest MRT station: Bukit Batok)


THINGS TO BRING:

Shorts (PE shorts/Square cut fbts)

Extra change of clothes

2012-2013 NJCD Executive Committee Application Form

PLEASE READ: 
It is compulsory for all SH1 and JH3 students to run for 3 positions in the SH/JH EXCO respectively unless you have a valid reason such as being a councilor or holding a leadership position in another CCA.

Please inform Esther if you are not running and state your reason before the application deadline.

make-up: put white eyeshadow first, then put orange eyeshadow on top of the white eyeshadow. Put black eyeshadow on half of the eyelid. Draw eyeliner on upper and lower waterline. Abit of blusher and lip stick

the first string should be just below hair line, second slightly below hair line. Pin the string across the head until the head of braid


 right of the head

back of the head
should have 3-4 flowers on the braid


Hair: Hair should be gelled ( no baby hairs). Pin your fringe up ( can have abit of height, dont have to stick to your head) tie a side pony tail to your right, make sure the height and position is behind you ear. Tie it very tightly with elastic. 
There should not be any loose strands. If there are use gel.Please use sufficient gel or else we will have to gel your whole head.

Yay! so I'm going to start blogging and recording part and parcel of our dance journey for us to remember by ;D



working hard, you guys! :)


So as most of you have heard the loud thud during BT ( Ballet Training as called by Lulu), yours truly have hit her head onto the concrete floor sigh. I'm contemplating to go for a CT scan because it hurts T_T So when you guys are doing BT for the following weeks please be careful! The concrete floor is not to be messed with * serious face* But thanks to Lulu and Wenwen for their sweet snacks!

Thanks to the Organising group of SH Open House school tours for the lovely booth and items! (Lu Khei, Janice, Kelly)




As you guys also know today * powerful english language*, its SH Open House school tours today! By Lukhei and Janice's charm (hehe)& most importantly all of our dancer's efforts, we managed to get a page full of contacts of which has two guys ;D *yay* so good job you guys!

On a side note, we celebrated birthdays of our dancers on Wednesday! (It was an August+October+November+December babies cake, oops >< )
So, the wind was so strong that our dancers had to come up with 'fake fire' haha nice one you guys. Here's a short video!
Yay, happy birthday babies! Speaking of Birthdays... It's Songya's birthday today! Our dear dancer who always help us with artistic needs such as our dance boards,phamplets,birthday cards and dance tee! haha HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONGYA! WE LOVE YOU~



Choosing colours made me think of orange, which made me think of Evelyn :( Evelyn is migrating today~ Unfortunately we had Open House or we could send her off. She just logged into Hotmail as i speak! haha Okay, This Orangey paragraph is to wish Evelyn all the best in Australia be it studies or dance and thank you so much for everything that you have tried to help us with during the holidays, and I'll definitely record our CNY performance for you! :D 




Yay, moving on, this pictures were taken awhile ago when the forces got together to fold meihua* determined*. Ok la, in the end we still needed Wulaoshi and Huanglaoshi's help to fold it properly haha.

2011-2012 NJCD Executive Committee Elections Interview

Date: 19 May 2011 (Thursday)
Venue: TC31

Holding room for all applicants will be at TC38. All applicants are to report to TC38 at 330pm for a mass briefing before the interview starts.

The estimated ending time is around 700pm.

2011-2012 NJCD Executive Committee Elections Speech and Voting

ALL MEMBERS of NJCD are to be present for speech and voting. It will be at DS1 from 1700-1800.
